I wasn’t familiar with Tree Top food even though they are celebrating their 50th anniversary. I really like their name because apple cider was their first product. They believed the best fruit comes from the top of the tree. Their main products are applesauce, many kinds of fruit juice and more. We were sent a sample of the applesauce, apple juice and one can of Trim to try. Nolan loves applesauce so as soon as it came he wanted to eat it. He wolfed it down and said it was great! I tried a little bite and would agree with him. Their website has a ton of great recipes to try including one that is my favorite that I make every winter.
RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 8 cups (64 oz)Tree Top Apple Cider
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons whole allspice
- 1 teaspoons whole cloves
- Cinnamon sticks
-
Combine first four ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Let simmer 15 minutes. Strain and serve. add a cinnamon stick to each mug before serving.
Trim is another fruit drink from Treetop that provides one serving of fruit and is sixty calories. I tried the Mango Peach and it was yummy. It is easier for me to drink my fruit then take the time to eat one, so I like this product. It contains Chromium, which is supposed to help with metabolism. Tree Top is currently holding a “America’s Secret Ingredient” contest of the best recipes. You can submit yours and download several other healthy ideas and recipes on their website. They also have a store locater to see where Tree Top is available in your area.
“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Tree Top and received products necessary to facilitate my candid review. In addition, I received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
