In a previous post I told you I was on a mission to test two diaper pails. The Arm and Hammer Munchkin and the Diaper Genie Elite. They are both great options and do the job. I do have a favorite and that is the Diaper Genie. The biggest reason is the foot pedal. It is so much easier to manage the baby and the poopy diaper if you can keep both hands free. You can just push the foot pedal and pop it in. The Munkin has a button to push on the top that is supposed to pop up, but that never happened for me. I had to struggle with it to get it to open. The Munchkin beats the Diaper Genie on smell though. The more diapers in the Genie the more smell comes out when the lid opens. It is temporary. I say combine the deodorizer and the foot pedal and that would make the perfect diaper pail. Thank you to Mom Central for solving my diaper smell issues!
