ELLIE IS COOL NOW

The Dreaded High School Reunion

Imagine the only way to land your dream job is by reliving your awkward, miserable youth..otherwise known as high school. For the girl who was “most likely to make everything worse,” you might as well just send her straight to hell. In Ellie is Cool Now, the second fiction novel by Victoria Fulton and Faith McClaren (besties and co-authors of the YA smash hit Horror Hotel), successful TV writer Ellie Jenkins worked her butt off to put her nerdy, outcast teen years behind her and get to the top of her game as a tv writer in Hollywood.
So there’s a certain delicious irony in that she works for a hit tv show about popular high school kids when she was So. Not. Cool. To get her dream promotion, she has to face her ultimate nightmare – HER HIGH SCHOOL REUNION.

High school reunions did you go to yours?  Victoria Fulton and Faith McClaren have written an adult novel entitled ‘Ellie Is Cool Now‘.  This is the story of a woman named Ellie Jenkins, a Hollywood writer hoping to ⠀get a promotion as co-executive producer of the television show where high school reunionget a promotion of co-executive producer of the television show she works.  It seems that going to her actual high school reunion could get her this new position.  Ellie and her friends make a list that will help her work out her feelings about going home and working her way through some old friendships and old wishes for she will be surprised in a few situations and Ellie learns that life happens.  ‘Ellie Is Cool Now’ is a book on Wattpad and is now a novel for adults who want to remember their high school days and may or may not go to their various high school reunions and live a little in the past.  This is a good story that could have readers wondering what kind of plans Ellie has from time to time with old friends and the relationships that were then.  The edition that I read was an Advanced Reader copy, and it was quite enjoyable, and nothing should be changed, and it was fun to read.  The cover art does in a way describe the basic premise of the story and asks the question ‘Would you want to go back to your high school reunion?
