Bubba and Squirt’s

The Legend of the Lost Pearls

                                               Sherry Ellis

Bubba and Squirt embark on their most dangerous quest yet. Whisked away through the vortex to Japan, they must find two fabled pearls that hold the key to saving their father.

What is this? Another Bubba and Squirt adventure? That is right they are off to another quest…

We’re off to Japan in search of some famous pearls that will help Bubba and Squirt help their father. Sherry Ellis has written a juvenile novel that teaches geography, history, and vocabulary of another language this time Japanese. This is a continuing adventure of these two boys that will have to take what they learned from previous adventures that will help them in answering various riddles that are presented by a few monsters in this adventure. In this adventure they have to help two brothers to solve a family problem where they have to share their talents of fishing and hunting. Bubba and Squirt just have to ‘believe’ and they will succeed in what they have to do to save their father. Do they believe they can do it Yes or No?

Sherry Ellis writes a story that will have you read this novel in one sitting to see how it ends. The illustrations will once again show what Sherry’s words tell. In getting to the end the reader will find out that this is the end of this series of adventures of Bubba and Squirt, but I am hoping that she may continue these adventures with these two as teenagers. Just think of what she could write for them then. The cover was perfect to visualize in color one of the adventures they had in this conclusion.
