Are you still using that boring old Nikon strap on your camera? You will change your mind when you see the beautiful camera straps from Capturing Couture! I was thrilled with their beautiful and unique selection of straps. They have a big selection too, with styles for women from Orchard to boho. Don’t worry they have a great line of straps for men too.

REVIEW
I chose the strap “ELLA”. I was drawn to the variety of pretty colors and the design. I included some pictures below so you can get a closer look at how adorable it is. Most important though is it holds my expensive Nikon well. It has strong and durable straps with padding on the shoulders. I have worn it out several times and kept it around my neck for hours and it was very comfortable. It didn’t scratch me and the adjustable straps make it easy for me to have my camera hang at a comfortable position. The price is great too! Two moms started the camera couture line and I always like to support mom businesses. You can purchase their straps at their website CAPTURING COUTURE. They also have a blog and sales section. Good luck trying to find just one to buy, they are all so pretty. I know I will be buying more.
ABOUT
Founded by two working moms, one with an extreme fervor for design, the other with a profound passion for photography, Capturing Couture breaks out into the accessories market with a collection of fashion forward camera straps, adding color and style to a category that has been, to this point, completely monochromatic. It’s time for the fashion and photography market to merge, with the creation of the first ‘ultra chic, totally couture fashion accessory’ for anyone with a camera.Capturing Couture creates two types of camera straps- one designed for SLR/DSLR cameras to be worn around the neck, the other designed for smaller cameras, with straps that wrap around the wrist. The straps are designed with comfortable neck pads (neck strap only), comfortable velvet lining, nylon webbing for durability and adjustable features for preferred positioning. Argyle, camo and striped prints are some of the styles available for the hip camera happy man while women can attach boho prints, floral patterns or polka-dot ruffled themes to their camera. With retail prices ranging between $19-$49, Capturing Couture’s mission is to make photography affordably fashionable.
Capturing Couture plans to expand the collection into camera bags in the 2010 calendar year. (from the website)

Some really unusual straps! Nice to see something other than the same old black or grey nylon…photography is art, accessories should show individuality 🙂
