“Shine: Why Don’t Moon Fairy & Sun Prince Live Together?” is a story about two beings, both with
their own unique light, and their coming together in a relationship which flourished over time.
However, despite their little Star being born from their love for each other, the light in their
relationship weakened and they drifted apart, no longer content spending time with one another
and both feeling unhappy. They concluded they could no longer live together as the ‘shine’ in
their relationship had waned, but their love had given them the most precious gift.
And they told this to their little Star: “There are millions of stars in the sky, but for us, you will
always be the brightest of them all … and you will always bring joy to our hearts.”
The first-of-its-kind fictional story is intended to be an uplifting tale of love that can be read to
children and reassure them that love is unconditional and knows no boundaries.
