How to Enjoy a Baseball Game If You Are Not a Fan
I happen to be a HUGE Baseball fan but alas many people find it a boring and slow game. But going to a game can still be a fun family outing…
The title itself will sound funny for millions of people, yet there are those that do not consider themselves baseball fans. Not because a baseball game
seems too complicated or not interesting to them. Just because it’s not their game. Well, that doesn’t mean these rare people cannot enjoy the game, the other side of it at least.
On a separate note, most of the kids think that they love watching baseball. But the game is usually pretty long (three plus hours), and they get tired or bored, or both. Possibly, that’s one of the reasons why there are always things to do and see in between the innings.
Let’s see what kind of fun you can have at a game aside of the game:
- Kiss cam: even if you don’t get in one, watching people doing it is always funny and cute.
- Competitions for kids: starting from riding pillow horses, to catching Frisbee’s with a pizza box.
- Catching a fly ball and other stuff: it’s amazing to see how almost the whole stadium is watching that ball flying, and only that one person not looking gets kicked by that ball; under other stuff it could be t-shirts, toys, and almost anything
- Ice cream in a baseball cap: even if you are not a kid and even if you don’t like ice cream (which is unlikely) you have to get at least one portion to take it home!

Ha ha, the title of this blog post made me smile:) I’ve only ever been to a few professional baseball games, and watching the sausage races at a Brewer game is always entertaining. I’ll take a live baseball game over watching one on TV; you can always get some great people watching in if the game doesn’t interest you.
