Asperger’s Play Guide: K’NEX

FireRescue

K’ NEX toys have been a staple in our house for many years.   They were our oldest son favorite toy.   Even now as a teenager, he wants to help our younger son build any sets that come into the house.   Knex are helpful with building fine motor skills and learning to handle frustrations.   Nolan isn’t a fast builder and will get easily frustrated, but we use it as an opportunity for learning.   He enjoys putting them together, but mostly he likes the end result of the toy.   He especially is enjoying the Fire Rescue Set.
