AMC’s Rubicon Debuts August 1st

rubiconAmerican Movie Channel, home to Mad Men, my favorite show, is premiering a new show called Rubicon. Will Travers is an intelligence analyst who cracks codes for a living. When Will’s world is shattered by an untimely death he begins asking questions, diving into a web of mystery and danger. Not every conspiracy is a theory.

In the first episode of “Rubicon” we get to know the interesting characters on Rubicon. Some are superstitious and have some weird habits. One of the characters, David, avoids the number 13 and reveals other quirky habits. Another character eats corn flakes for lunch every day. I have never been a superstitious person myself, except when I was little I wouldn’t step on cracks. I thought of it more as a fun game then a superstition. I have known several friends who have quirky habits. One friend would wear the color blue for all of her college tests. I guess it worked in her mind because she got good grades.

AMC’s newest original drama series “Rubicon” debuts on Sunday, August 1 with a special two-hour premiere from 8–10pm ET. The summer is a good time to try out new shows like Rubicon, especially if you like a good mystery show. You can watch a preview of Rubicon below.
