MOM REVIEW

We tested out the promises about the Squeezebox listed above and you know what? They are right!  You need wireless Internet service.

Easy Set Up. I plugged it in, connected it to our service, and was listening to Pop Radio from New York within five minutes.

Sound quality is impressive I was pleasantly surprised and I think it sounds as good as a stereo. It can’t compete with the expensive nice sound system, but it works great for me.

The Selection: Be prepared to have fun looking for hours to find your favorites to add to the favorite button. There are tons of types of music and talk radio to choose from. I found stations from overseas too. There is everything from pop, latin, muppets and more.

There are apps to choose from including Sirious Internet Radio, Slacker and Pandora.  Facebook and Flickr are also offered as apps. Some are free and some cost.

There are other nice options to hook up your iPod and play your own downloads

You can use the Squeezbox as an alarm clock

You have to pay for the remote which comes separately.

If you are looking for an affordable and quality Wi Fi radio I think you would enjoy the Squeezebox and what it offers. You can purchase the Squeezebox and other models of it at the Logitech website.
