Any true book lover will tell you that over the course of time, it is quite easy for books to begin peeking out of all nooks and crannies of your house. Even in the days of the digital readers and ebooks, some people still have a pure joy for good old-fashioned print editions.
We have four large bookcases strewn about our basement that are full of books. When those began to overflow, we started boxing up older books and giving some of them away. If this doesn’t solve the problem, you might even consider self storage units. Some local communities boast smaller sized, reasonably priced units that would make a great space for books and other basic home items if you are looking to de-clutter.
Maybe you have some old baby clothes and toys to tuck away as well. You can even make your storage space a virtual book getaway complete with bookshelves and recliner. It can become a quiet getaway space when you need some down time.
