OK so first things first.What the heck does he mean by funnel? Simply put a sales funnel is the buying process that a seller will lead customers through when purchasing products.
I went through this book before actually doing all the “Homework” just to get an idea of what I was getting into. It looked to me The Secrets of the Traffic Secrets are not all that secretive if you’ve been running a successful business or website for a while. A lot of common sense ideas and strategies here.
After my first run thru of the book I went back and did the 30 day challenge. This is where the Homework that I mentioned comes in. I think this challenge would be really helpful to someone that is just starting a new website . If you follow the book in the correct order these strategies will definitely increase your traffic. It makes perfect sense when you are asked to look at other places your prospected customers go. What other websites do they frequent? What Blogs or forums interest them? As he puts it…
Who is your Dream Customer?
Where are they Congregating?
If you know where to find them that’s half the battle.Now show them where to get what the are searching for and hopefully it’s you!
It’s quite a bit of work but it will be well worth it if your true goal is to Number one bring readers or customers to your site and in the process you will most likely improve your site.
