Brunelle has done it again in her book ‘The Time Gambler’ Book Two of the Adventures of Frankie More.  In this sequel Frankie and Fantravis leap back in time and this time it is in the 1960’s and in particular 1964 and rock music.  The topic of power is discussed in many ways in this volume of adventure.  This sequel is definitely a story of science fiction from the beginning in the true sense of the words.  This story starts out with aliens and finishes with aliens.  Frankie and Fantravis learn and teach about emotions to the aliens as well as themselves throughout the book.  Music is only one way and one that fits all cultures for we learn more about each other though our music.

My favorite was when 1964 was chosen to head back towards to solve this story’s issues through Rock music with one very special rock group that we can all learn from in the past, present and into the future.  Lessons are learned again through music where we all learn as well as the characters about how we accept others.  B. T. Brunelle did it again with all her detailed description from cover to story-telling of the aliens, Frankie and Fantravis.  This is a novel for middle school grades again in an English/language arts curriculum that teach the humanities and about cultural attitudes of native and aliens that are presented in real life and literature.  This book is fun, creative, descriptive five star read for kids and adults.
