Sunny Day
Sweepin’ the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet

Can you tell me how to get,

Do you recognize those lyrics?   Yes, it is Sesame Street’s theme song.  Many generations have enjoyed Sesame Street.  I was in love with Cookie Monster.   Elmo wasn’t around then. My children are now enjoying the show and it is a television show that I approve of. This generation can learn even more with the new Sesame Street Wii and DS games. I am so excited about them! I wanted to share with you a video about the game. I haven’t played them yet because they come out in this Fall. I really like the “little helper” controllers that come with it for little hands. They will be on our Christmas list for the boys.

Sesame Street: Elmo’s A-to-Zoo Adventure and Sesame Street: Cookie’s Counting Carnival.

The video games, available in October on the Wii, Nintendo DS and PC, help preschoolers learn skills such as letter identification, counting, shapes, and letter sounds while having fun with Cookie Monster, Elmo and other “Sesame Street” favorites.  As you’ll see, the Wii and DS titles also come with specially designed “game play helpers” which simplify game play controls and make them more accessible for preschoolers with small hands and developing skills. For the Wii, the “game play helper” is a soft and fuzzy character cover with special grips that slip over the Wii Remote minimizing unnecessary buttons and making it easier and more fun to hold.  For Nintendo DS, there is a jumbo click stylus designed for smaller hands, simplifying interaction with the touch screen.
