Smart Love of Learning Giveaway

Do you remember your teacher using a chalkboard and chalk or that big clunky overhead projector that never worked. Those days are over.  Now teachers can use Smart Boards.   My husband is an instructor at college and he gets to use a Smartboard which is so cool.   A Smartboard is a “touch screen” board that functions like a blackboard does, but with the technical capabilities of a computer screen. In keeping with the times, SMART Technologies presents us with their absolutely amazing interactive whiteboards. You can check out a fun stop-motion video called “The Magical Classroom” to get a taste for what the technology is all about.

SMART Technologies is the world’s largest provider of interactive whiteboards. They are proud to announce the launch of “SMART Love of Learning.” It acknowledges and celebrates all of the teachers who have impacted individuals around the world, and it all comes down to one simple question:

“Who do you think is the best teacher in the world?

My husband and I feel we have been blessed with the wonderful teachers our son has had so far. We have more of a challenge because of his Autism diagnosis, so he needs a teacher who understands what works with him. He is in a regular classroom, and also takes other classes. His kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Seybert, has been amazing with him. She understands him and advocated for him at our IEP meeting. She wanted to make sure he gets his needs and challenges met for next year. Nolan truly adores her and was very sad at the thought of her not being his teacher again.

Now it is your turn. Follow the link to join the Facebook group where you can enter to WIN a SMART Board interactive whiteboard for your child’s school or a school of your choice! (simply click on the “WIN” tab to enter) I hope I can win for our school too.

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Smart Technologies and received  a $20 Amazon gift certificate to facilitate my review.”
