This certification is designed for Oracle E-Business Suite 12 Financial Management Certified Implementation Specialists: Oracle Payables. This exam assesses an individual’s understanding of the processes of E-Business Essentials. These E-Business Essentials skills include accessing and navigating the whole of the R12 Business Suite, entering data, retrieving information via queries, and accessing help online. The ability to set up and to make use of Oracle Payables for the purpose of accounts payable process management including creating and paying invoices will also be assessed.
This Oracle certification is geared toward implementation team members who are at the intermediate level. It is strongly encouraged that individuals attempting to earn this certification have appropriate field experience and training that is current. This field experience and training is not sufficient preparation for the certification exam, but it does provide a knowledge base that will have candidates prepared to study for the exam and to tackle the responsibilities that come with careers that require this type of certification.
Candidates must secure a passing score on the Oracle 1Z0-517 EBS R12.1 Payables Essentials in order to obtain this certification. Any who do not secure a passing score will have the opportunity to retake the exam at a later date when they are better prepared. This exam is made up of 80 questions, and candidates are given 150 minutes to complete it. Oracle PartnerNetwork offers a number of resources to help with exam preparation, and so does TestsLive. With a combination of study resources, candidates will be able to complete this exam successfully.
