It truly is amazing how the minds of young children work and how quick they learn. And oh boy! when they learn NO! watch out.We have all had the experience of constantly hearing NO! when dealing with young kids.This is a great little book for any parent going through that stage with their child. It’s a very short (23 pages) and easy read to catch the child’s attention. The Child will certainly get the message. The poetic verse it’s written in just makes it that much more fun to listen to as it rolls off Mom or Dads tongue.The illustrations on each page are quite clever.While they clearly capture the emotion of Katy Rose I’ve never seen anything quite like it.Created by the author herself Delin Colón. It’s called Cut-Paper art and for this book all the images were created using the same 127 pieces of Cut Paper. She just rearranges them to create each very different picture. As a bonus the last page of the book has instructions on how to create your own Cut-Paper art to have a little fun with the kiddies.I have no problem recommending this book. It’s got everything I like in a book like this. The clear message for the children and of course the rhyming style it’s written in.

Rose Likes To Say NO! Her greatest joy is in creating cut-paper collages. Sometimes, images come to
her in dreams, and she says she’s compelled to create them. Other times, she randomly cuts a piece of paper into many small pieces and moves them around on a page until they form an image .
She live on the beautiful and peaceful U.S. Pacific Northwest coast, which provides a great deal of inspiration.
