Healing is a power that fifteen-year-old, Brenna Finlayson, has fought long and hard to subdue. When a harebrained idea suddenly occurs to her, she risks losing everything by revealing herself to the one person she fears losing the most.
Brenna’s spontaneous unveiling brings about the revealing of other truths. She, and her twin sister, Keely, have destinies to fulfill. Destinies that require them to fight. Maybe even kill. As an innate healer, violence is the last thing Brenna wants.
In an attempt to live a normal, peaceful life, Brenna rejects her heritage, choosing a different path. But the path she chooses doesn’t bring her the normalcy she was hoping for.

Tiffany spends her days shuttling her kids back and forth to school and extracurricular activities, cooking meals, and cleaning house (it’s fun, really). For fun (really-real fun) she loves to read and watch movies with her dog and her cat snuggled at her feet (yes together, as they should be). When she’s not doing any of those things, you can find her daydreaming, and then jotting down those dreams, so that she can later type them up. She does this in hopes that others will join her in her alternate reality where all types of people are equally represented (at least that’s the goal). Because what fun is it to have magical powers, kill demons, and fall in love, if you have to do it all by yourself?
