Sears Hometown Stores announces the Share in the Celebration nationwide anniversary sweepstakes from July 1 through July 31, 2010. Customers of Sears Hometown Stores, Sears Home Appliance Showrooms and Sears Appliance and Hardware stores can enter for a chance to win over $64,000 in prizes including the grand prize of a 2011 Toyota Tundra and the opportunity to take part in an awards ceremony at a local Sears Hometown Store.

“We are launching this anniversary sweepstakes because we really want to thank our customers for their continued support throughout the last 17 years,” says Will Powell, senior vice president of Sears Hometown Stores. “Even with the fluctuations in the economy, the Sears Hometown Stores have continued to grow—which is a testament to our customers’ loyalty. To celebrate that accomplishment and to give back to our customers we are offering a number of in-store promotions as well as the opportunity for one winner to take home a 2011 Toyota Tundra.”

Sears Hometown Store customers are invited to enter the Share in the Celebrations sweepstakes from July 1 through July 31, 2010 either online or by mail. Over $64,000 in prizes including Whirlpool and Samsung Kitchen suites, Fisher & Paykel laundry pair, Samsung laundry pairs, Craftsman Riding Yard Tractor, Craftsman garage suite and a 52” Sharp LED HDTV will be awarded nationwide. Customers can enter once per day. In addition, from July 9 to July 17, 2010 customers who visit a local Sears Hometown Store, Sears Home Appliance Showrooms, or Sears Appliance and Hardware Stores can enter in-store and participate in the Scratch and Save promotion. Participants in the Scratch and Win promotion have the opportunity to win up to 15% off a single item.

“With over 1130 Sears Hometown Stores, Sears Home Appliance Showroom or Sears Appliance and Hardware Stores across the country, our customers know they can find top brand appliances, tools and lawn and garden equipment and more in their local community,” adds Powell. “Over 1000 of these locations are independently owned and operated or franchise operated, so our customers can feel confident that any purchases they make invest directly back into their communities.”
