I have been an avid reader since birth. Reading opens a whole new world to me and I love the feelings great books bring to me. Sony started a website called WORDS MOVE ME,which is about connecting readers with those emotions they felt while reading a certain book. For instance, if I want to read a book that will make me happy, I can search that term and see what it brings up. What a cool way to look for books! The widget you see below features book-quotes that are meaningful to me. Click to the left or the right of the center box to scroll through the quotes that I’ve chosen.
Once you find a book you like, you can head over to purchase the book for your Sony Reader. There is a huge library of books available for purchase, as well as thousands of classic titles available for FREE download via GOOGLE. I like that they provide free books!
I am a virgin e reader and am excited to try out the Sony Pocket Reader. I haven’t received it yet, so I cannot review it for this giveaway, but I will let you know what I think. Below are the details about the Sony Pocket Reader . There is a video on the Sony website about the Reader, it is actually on sale for $179.99.
.The Reader Pocket Edition™ lets you access up to 350 of your favorite books from anywhere and it’s small enough to fit right in your pocket or purse.

“A minute of perfection was worth the effort. A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection. ” – A minute of perfection by Chuck Palahniuk
The world is a looking-glass, and gives back to every man the reflections of his own face. Frown at it, and it will in turn look sourly upon you; laugh at it and with it, and it is a jolly kind companion; and so let young persons take their choice! by Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray I know this is from a magazine and not a book but it still spoke to me, so I hope it counts.
My favorite is “And from now on she could never be hurt badly. She could always keep busy during the day, and at night–the lonely ones–there were always the beautiful dolls for company. She’d take two of them tonight. Why not? After all, it was New Year’s Eve!” from Valley of the Dolls. I absolutely love this book and feel like it speaks to everyone about something that will never change in our society. thanks for the amazing giveaway!
“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” from Meditations Divine and Moral by Anne Bradstreet spoke to me.
From one of my (many) favorite books, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn: “From that time on, the world was hers for the reading. She would never be lonely again, never miss the lack of intimate friends. Books became her friends and there was one for every mood.”
The quote that moved me was the one that says “You don’t love someone because they’re perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they’re not” from My Sister’s Keeper
“and my sweet Father in heaven, who has promised never to leave us or forsake us, began sending me postcards affirming his love and plan for me” Just Enough Grace by Heather Nations is the one for me.

My best literary moment was reading the Harry Potter books. They rocked my world! Also, I loved the Terry Goodkind series, they also rocked! I especially loved the Wizards Rules from the Terry Goodkind books.
From that time on, the world was hers for the reading. She would never be lonely again, never miss the lack of intimate friends. Books became her friends and there was one for every mood.

“treachery and violence are spears pointed at both ends; they wound those who resort to them worse than their enemies.” Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
The literary moment (and book) I found there that spoke to me was “When I was about 20 I purchased a used copy of Catch 22 not knowing anything about it. Once I started reading it I could not put it down. I laughed and cried out loud, and once finished I started it again. This book started my love affair with reading!”-Catch 22 by Joseph Heller
from My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult i loved the words
You dont love someone because they’re perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they’re not.
this is so very true because not one person on this planet is perfect and we all have our faults and deserve to be loved
