Ready 2 Rumble Wii Game Review

Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is a Teen-rated Wii video game from Atari that is sure to please boxing and sports fan enthusiasts who want to “duke it out” in the virtual Wii ring.  Features of the game include the ability to create your own boxer for customized play, or you can select an outrageous character and rumble with family and friends.

You can fight to become the king of the ring using one of the seven gameplay modes.  You can master the ring through training and by building your boxing form and skills using the eight mini games available.

Like any sports-themed game, Ready 2 Rumble is sure to have fans, but may also disappoint some who want an ultra-realistic game play.  The characters and game play definitely present a more arcade-style experience.  The characters are interesting and the ability to design your own adds a nice element.  It is not your traditional boxing experience, as if we know what that is.  The characters and their unique mannerisms are as much the point as the punching and dodging.

One great element of games like this that offer an active boxing experience is that you are active, and you can take out your frustrations on computer characters, or your friends and family.  So put your gloves on, and lets get “Ready 2 Rumble”!
