Nadya Suleman: Octuplets Mom Speaks on “Today” (Video)

In the first interview with Nadya Suleman, the mother of the octuplets explains why she thinks having 14 children was a responsible choice and why she’s being unfairly attacked because she’s a single mom.
Below is the video of her interview from this morning. I am also linking to a teriffic article from The Toronto Star that goes against the onslaught of media news and comments saying we should basically banish her and her children, that I hope you will read. It is not a popular opinion, but a compassionate one. I think it is one that we should all have towards any other human beings and I know there are more people out there that do. Next week The Today Show will have video of her babies and I think and hope their faces will encourage that compassion.

You need to go out and get a job and stop making us taxpayers support you. If you thought having 14 children was a responsible choice then you should have the means to support all of them. Stop asking for donations from people nobody has the money. This country is in a recession! Stop making babies!

It’s not the children’s fault.
All 14 children should be adopted to good homes, preferably in groups together or at least in twos if possible.
The Grandparent’s have been very weak in raising the daughter, so they perhaps should have to go through courses to learn better in this and then perhaps be able to earn visitation rights with their children.
If Nadya ever chooses to grow up and admit her irresponsiblity and extreme self absorption, maybe the adoptive parents will allow her back into her children’s lives.
But she doesn’t deserve anymore rights than any other felon con artist, irresponsible breeder milking the system whose children are finally taken away when they finally go too far.
In fact, she is mroe responsible for having done so.
Because she has a COLLEGE EDUCATION as a Family Counselor paid for by us certifying that she well knows what is required and what is responsible under the laws of this country including child welfare.
